Artist Motoyuki Shitamichi is included in apexart's exhibition, KANTEN 観展: The Limits of History, curatred by Eimi Tagore-Erwin on view March 24th - May 20th 2023.
The group show focuses on the divergent historical legacies and generational trauma of Japanese expansionism during the Asia Pacific War. Included artists are Oh Haji, Kum Soni, Furukata Taro, Kyun-Chome, Dokuyama Bontaro, Shitamichi Motoyuki, Ken Okiishi and a historical collection of wartime postcards from Lafayette College's East Asia Image Collection.
